WHAT: Wedding Reception!
WHEN: Backdated to October 31st because I suck non-literal balls.
WHERE: A reception area at Central Park Zoo

It was everything she had dreamed of and more. After the initial panic about everything going wrong for the wedding, Rose's mother had stepped in and everything had been perfect. The flowers were perfect, the new photographer was a delight, the musicians were wonderful. Now as long as the food went perfectly, they could count it as an absolute success.

The ceremony had taken place near the seals, exactly like Aislinn had requested. For a selkie, it was a close to being with her own kind in the sea as she was going to get for a long time. Her cow-workers from the zoo had attended and made sure the area was set up and everything went according to plan. Ceana had stood beside Aislinn and Victor had stood beside Rose, and they exchanged vows and rings. She was someone's wife and that was all a selkie could ask for.

Now clad in her reception dress, she swanned over to her new bride with a delighted grin on her face. "Hello, wife!" she said cheerfully.

Initially feeling a little guilty over luring Aislinn into this, Rose still felt wonderful. The feeling had dissipated when they had made their vows, and she could not stop toying with her ring. Nor could she stop grinning.

She'd remained in Sarah's dress, only so she could be closer to her departed sister. She'd even made a seat open, just to show her sister was present in spirit and thought.

Laughing she set her arms around Aislinn and kissed her. "Hello wife." she brushed Aislinn's hair from her eyes and smiled. "I couldn't be happier. And everything turned out so well too."

"You should ask her if Hogwarts is real!" Aislinn suggested, a bright grin on her face. She loved Harry Potter.

When Rose told her she was beautiful, she blushed. "Not as beautiful as you are! Should we go talk to people, or do you want to keep me all for yourself?" She meant it in an entirely innocent way, of course. But it still had the chance to make Rose feel bad.

	She was happy to have made Aislinn happy. She'd arrange for the visit even if it was expensive. Even with the cost of the wedding they should be alright for a while. She grinned to the kiss, "you're not making this easy. Alright who do you want to see first?" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

She kissed Aislinn in retaliation before nodding. "Lets, and please. She's at least arranging future weddings if I know my mother. And possibly needling Kat and Victor too. So let's go save them."

She set one arm around Aislinn as she walked to where Kat and Victor sat, alongside her mother. "Hey all you." Kat waved, "I'd hug you guys but I made the fatal error of sitting down and I think that's about it." Kat offered with a grin. "It was splendid though. Congratulations."

	Rose smiled to that, and leaned down to offer Kat a hug. Smiling Kat took it. "It was very tear inducing, which is not helped how I cry at everything now." rose chuckled and sat beside Kat, tugging Aislinn onto her lap. "We thought we'd offer you some company." Rose nodded to that, "they are but today is wedding." She smiled into her wife's shoulder before kissing it.

It made Kat smile before she sighed, "okay help." She took Victor's arm and got herself up. "Full of grace. I'll be back." Rose watched her walk off before smiling to Victor. "You'd better be next. Although take my advice and elope. It was a wonderful day but so many details."

	Aislinn grinned to the kiss and she leaned her head against Rose's for a moment. Victor helped Kat up and then he watched her move away. Then he chuckled at Rose. It made her laugh as well. Seeing Victor so happy and bright was wonderful. "Good. You deserve it."

Kat picked up on the last of it, "whatever it is, yes. Unless it's bad things, then no." She smiled to all of them before taking her seat again and setting one hand on her stomach. "What did I miss?"

"Victor gushing," Rose replied, which made Kat just roll her eyes. "He does that," she says. "Good thing he's adorable."

It made Kat's eyebrows raise and then she laughed, "tempting, but I'm pretty sure if I did, Jamie would kill me. Knowing him, he's got his speech all ready." Then Kat leaned over and kissed victor, "stop being adorable, it's killing me."

Rose just chuckled, "You're both adorable. And I should go find Dad so I can make him pretend he doesn't cry by making him dance with me."

Victor kissed Kat back and then he leaned down to kiss her stomach as well. His daughter was in there and he couldn't wait to meet her. "I have a feeling Claire and Robert would do the same thing if we tried to elope. And I'm sure Robert will suavely hide his tears."

Aislinn laughed at Rose and she nodded. "You want me to come with you, or should I hang with them?"

Rose just chuckled to Victor's reaction and she noticed Kat's smile. Those two were well matched and they would make a lovely family. "That doesn't mean be more adorable you know," Kat said, but there wasn't anything behind it. "but at least she's relaxing now."

Rose shook her head, "father daughter dance. We can have ours later." Gently she rose and let Aislinn go. "If you want to spend time with Victor and Kat you can. Up to you love."

"There will be time," Victor smiled at her.

Robert allowed himself to be dragged onto the dance floor, and he took his daughter into his arms. He wasn't in to emotional demonstrations, but it was hard not to cry while his younger daughter looked so beautiful in his older daughter's dress. It was her wedding day and he was so proud of her. He showed this by swirling her around and saying, "beautiful wedding."

	Kat had just given him a look but Rose beamed as she danced with her father. She knew what he meant and she turned to him with a warm smile. "I know dad. Thank you."
