WHO: Euterpe & Mozart
WHEN: Friday mid-morning
WHERE: Mozart's apartment
WHAT: Being sort of couplely.
It had to come as a surprise to absolutely no one that Euterpe was the type who sung in the shower, and this morning her vocal acrobatics danced from Bob Dylan to Lady Gaga to Ella Fitzgerald and finally, as she was drying herself off, to the Queen of the Night aria that she'd sung that first night of meeting Wolfgang to impress him.
She could feel him through the bathroom walls as she sang, moving like a melody she knew intimately. She stayed longer in the bathroom than she needed, enjoying the way her voice bounced off the small walls. (And not really thinking about the fact that the neighbouring apartment might not find her morning soprano quite as delightful as she did, no matter how skilled.)
Finally she came out, still finishing the aria, her dark hair hanging wet down her back, pale skin flushed from the hot water, and the towel only just managing to hold onto her. The kitchen called to her and she started making coffee, hoping Wolfgang would join her soon enough.
