WHO: Aislinn McKendrick, Rosalind Mattersey and then Claire and Robert Mattersey
WHAT: It's the week before the wedding!
WHEN: October 25th
WHERE: Their home

Aislinn had the seating chart in her hands, but she wasn't really looking at it. Planning a wedding was like trying to herd cats through the eye of a needle. Everyone had different ideas of what to do, and things kept going wrong. So far the caterer had called to say that the chicken dish they wanted was off the menu, and the florist had contacted them to inform them that they had to choose different flowers because of a supply problem.

The baker had a conflict, the photographer was fired from the company- At least that last one had been solved by a friend of Victor's friends who had stepped in at the last minute and agreed to do the photos for a very agreeable price. At least their venue was safe. Aislinn had been working at the zoo since Hurricane Sandy took out her precious aquarium and there was no way her co-workers would let something stand in the way of her wedding.

She tossed the seating chart aside and groaned, "what if something goes wrong with the band?" she asked her fiancee. "What do we do then?!"

She nodded to that, "lets. It's so nice seeing Victor actually live." then she smirked, "and while wonderful it also means less questions about us giving you any." She winked at Aislinn.

"Oh don't think you are getting off so easily," Claire winked at her daughter. "I agree though, Kat has been so good for him. Have you two thought of alstromeria? It's beautiful and colourful. Do you have colours picked out?"

Playfully she rolled her eyes, "Well I have at least nine months, or less, before you poke at me."

She nodded, "and he adores her. And I like it, but it's up to Aislinn as well. Any colors you like, love?"

Claire just gave her daughter a devilishly impish look before turning to Aislinn.

"I like blue and white," Aislinn said with a hint of a question in her voice. She needed to know it was okay with Rose too.

"Maybe hydrangea, a bit of alstro and some roses," Claire suggested. "I could make a call, I know a young lady who just finished her training and I think she would love to do the flowers and probably for a reduced price."

She returned her mother's look with a look of her own before smiling at Asilinn, "then we can do that."

"That would be a lifesaver mom. I really do appreciate you helping us out."

"Of course, I'll make the call in the morning," Claire promised them. "On to the next problem!"

"You're like a problem buster," Aislinn grinned. "It's awesome."

"It really is. Well we have the chicken debacle." She took out the menu's and offered them to her mother. "The main issue with that is, like I said, we already got our R.S.V.P's back. People already picked what they wanted. And I don't want to upset them if we have to switch."

"Right," Claire took the menu into her hands. "I can take this menu to the caterer we use at work and see if they'll do it! Then you won't have to worry about the RSVPs."

"I didn't even think of that," Aislinn acknowledged.

"To be fair, neither did I. But then we don't use caterers." Smiling she took her mother's hand. "you are a life saver. If they can do that, it'll be great."

"It won't be a problem," she assured her daughter. "Now give me the seating plan and I'll fix that too. Then we'll eat and I'll leave you both alone to seduce each other, or whatever else you get up to."

Aislinn giggled.

Smiling she handed her mother the seating chart. "I want to keep drama to a minimum. No one's invited that's going to say stupid things, but with alcohol anything is possible. I've already put Kat with you guys but everything else is still confusing." She chuckled, "at least you're not walking in on me. Never getting over that."
