In between moving and being annoyed at the government shutdown, Alexander's temper was constantly frayed. He was doing his best not to unleash it on anyone who didn't deserve it, but it was getting harder and harder to hold it in.

He came in, carrying a box of books that had been left in his car, and he all but tripped over Richard's shoes. He dropped the box directly onto his foot, swearing a blue streak because it fucking hurt.

"Richard!" he yelled. "Can you please move your shoes to somewhere where people won't fucking trip over them, maybe?"

	"Fair enough," he sighed. "Don't blame you, I'm really not either." He sat down to wait for the cab, careful not to let his head rest on the sofa, no matter how much he just wanted to sleep. He dug his nails into his leg, if he felt like he might be dozing off. (Reply to this) (Parent)
