Marie stopped dead in her tracks and she raised her eyebrows at Conchobar. Did he just say women weren't to be trusted?! Her eyes narrowed and she ignored the part about pro bono cases.
He had said it was ridiculous for women not to be allowed to discuss law, and then in the next breath, that they weren't to be trusted. Marie had spent her life being treated like she was worthless and now that things had changed, she was not going back to that.
