Oh he didn't mind. His cheeks coloured and he ducked his head after the kiss and then he turned to smile at her. "I am having a good time too. You are very welcome."
They moved into the equipment room and removed their guns before leaving the building entirely. Victor bade farewell to the owner and then they were outside in the chilly air again. "The place I thought you might like to have dinner is just a block away so I won't bother driving. If you don't like the look of it though, we can find something else!"
He walked beside her until they got to the pub-like restaurant. It was called, rather unimaginatively 'The Australian Pub' and that was exactly what it was. It wasn't the Outback Steakhouse where everything Australian was treated like a novelty. It was a nice pub where people could sit down and eat Australian food and enjoy Australian beer and wine, and it was completely run by Australians. They even served kangaroo.
"You said you lived in Australia for awhile so I thought it might remind you of there."
