She held onto him tightly, not even noticing the pressure. They were finally home together again, the way it should be, and until he was himself again, she wasn't letting him out of her sight. She sat on the edge of the tub, trailing her fingers through the warm water as he spoke.
"I haven't seen you since the darkness," she said at last. "You were lost, I couldn't find any trace of you at all. I was ready to start going block by block, but then the storm hit. My sisters are loving it, but I was just crossing my fingers we wouldn't lose power." She examined him with a critical eye. "Anything broken? I think Mount Sinai still has power, if you need a hospital."
