Who: Thor and Loki What: Returning merchandise? When: Saturday Where: Thor's latest construction site/then...off... Warning: Big angry Norse go boom.
The storms had started to calm down over the coast, Thor was starting to think that Loki had finally lost his interest in the hammer. Instead of wielding his anger out on Loki's children, coming home a bloodied mess his temper had finally settled. Thor had settled his tantrums for now, in time Loki would return what he didn't have in the first place. Thor more or less wanted to kick himself for being allowed to believe he could trust his Norse brethren when all Loki had ever did was use him for his own plaits. The even sorer spot was that these new feelings towards it all had everything to do with mortals modern stories. To them he and Loki were important to each other.
The burn that had been left for centuries of throwing his hammer like a boomerang was starting to disappear against his hands. They used to run raw, look a bleeding red on some days. Today they were just normal hands. Thor as he was now was becoming normal. It wasn't the life of an Asgardian, he remembered those days with high regard, because it seemed as if the world and universe now was railing itself backwards.
He slammed his hammer (a slightly less impressive tool) against the metal beam, bending it's arm around for the frame he was building. Now a construction man with insatiable strength, the men he worked with had no idea they ate lunch with a legend.
