The apartment was dark, the only light on in Zoe's bedroom, her door closed. The place was too empty and quiet and she tried to convince herself that she wanted to be alone right now anyways. Zoe was in her jammies of PJ bottoms and a tank top and she sat on her messy bed with a book in her lap, only occasionally stopping to make notes. She was trying to keep her mind off things. She'd turned her phone off since the day before, since.. it happened. She didn't know what would be worse, hearing Greed's excuse or finding out she didn't have any messages from him at all. Both scenarios were pretty bad so she just left the blasted thing off.

Her morning with Patience had drained her and left her more confused and upset than ever. She tried hard to not let what he was saying get to her but she knew it did. And she couldn't even ask Greed about it because he was God knows where.. who cared, he wasn't here. She felt like an idiot.

It was adorable trying to watch her get to the point. She was blushing more than she was trying to explain. He'd never had that before, so he was undeniably inrerested. He rolled his finger like a propeller as if it would help speed her along but she kept getting tongue-tied. "Friends with benefits?" Though they weren't exactly benefiting anything, at least he wasn't. "I could dress as a girl?" He had done that before once when sneaking into a businessman's office. He had tried countless things to obtain what he wanted.

"You couldn't get through my apartment without getting lost..." He scrubbed his chin. But it was an option as long as there were no surprise visits via his siblings. "But I could manage it." He wasn't going to stop seeing her. Not for a speedbump in the shape of a roommate.

Zoe's light flush turned crimson when he suggested friends with benefits, "No!" she said horrified, she didn't do things like that. She shoved at him with her foot for suggesting it and then gave him a look, "You being a girl wouldn't change things much. It'd still present the same problem."

She was surprised when he seemed to actually be considering showing her his apartment. She backtracked and tried again, "Or.. we could just not see each other as much for awhile. Would that be such a bad thing?" she hadn't thought he'd actually show her his place..

	Greed gave the face of a whining puppy. "But I don't want to not see you." His eyes got watery, and nice and wide. He may have played it up, but he was good at that. Sad child always got him what he wanted. "I like seeing you and making you flustered." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Zoe smiled a little but made a face at him, "You sure you're not five?" she put her hand on his face and pushed him away.

"As flattering as it is that you want to see me and embarrass me.. I mean. You have other things to do, right?" if she made this about him then there was a better chance he'd go for it. "You're a busy guy. And I know I've probably been eating a lot into your schedule.. of important things to do. And I mean, your apartment is your place. Your space." she frowned, "Do you really want me there? Because trust me, I know what it's like when someone comes in and takes over." she grinned a little and looked at him pointedly as she leaned in towards him, "It's not as fun as it seems." maybe he wouldn't notice she was rambling..
