Who: Eurydice, Mnemosyne and Orpheus
What: Grandmommy doting on and loving her grandson and his wife
When: Thursday evening
Where: Mnemosyne's place
Warnings: Pssh, this bunch? I doubt it

So far Mnemosyne had seen a daughter and a sister. This evening she would see one of her grandsons and his wife. It had been a good week so far. A wonderfully good week. The only thing that could possibly make it better was if the remaining Mousai showed up. Then she would have reason to throw a full out pantheon party and invite everyone, despite any awkwardness or grievances. Mnemosyne loved most people, but there were those whom she knew better than to have anything to do with. Which was saying a lot for her ever having the idea of inviting someone like Hera to her home for any reason. Then again, she was entirely over Hera and honestly couldn't care less about what that icy queen had to say or do. She was neutral either way and she preferred the Moirai anyway.

For appetizers she had made sure her living room was immaculate. The only thing that appeared even remotely out of place were the trays of hors d'oeuvres set neatly on the coffee table. Maybe she had gone a little overboard with all this food but she didn't care. She always made sure anyone who came to her home was well fed and taken care of.

When at least the doorbell rang she hurried to answer the door. A wide smile greeted Orpheus and Eurydice as the door swung open. She immediately pulled her grandson into a hug and kissed her cheek. "My sweet, sweet boy! You look..." she looked him over, "thin. Much too thin." Then it was Eudydice's turn for a hug and a gentle kiss to the cheek, the girl unable to not smile. "Do you both eat?" She asked when she took note of Eurydice's size as well. There was once a time when a full figure was considered most beautiful and while Eurydice had never been very large herself, Mnemosyne was determined to make them both put on at least ten pounds. "No matter, you will eat and drink and we will laugh. Come in."

Mnemosyne smiled and shook her head, "There's nothing to apologize for. You haven't seen your wife in centuries, you're bound to stare." meanwhile Eurydice finished that small appetizer with a blush on her face. "I'm not really used to it, either," she confessed. "I've been above for almost six years now and I'm not even used to that yet."

Mnemosyne nodded again, "Well you're not expected to be back to the way things were before. But if your love is still as great as back then the world is in for a great romance once more."

Orpheus kept Eurydice's hand tightly woven in his, still not able to even think of food. He was just happy to see her breathing though he'd hardly shown any emotion besides hurt. He beat himself up over her still, he probably would for some time.

"It's very strange." He shook his head, "I really don't know how to feel. It's almost as if my heart will burst." Orpheus was remembering little by little with this new picture book his mind was making of Eurydice.
