WHEN: Thursday night
WHERE: A conveniently unnamed park in Brooklyn
WHAT: Catching the crazy earth mother.
WARNINGS: Violence, tba
Demeter still found herself in the middle of nature even when she no longer wanted it. Tonight it was a park, the night time trees around her swaying in the breeze even as they seemed to draw away from her. The things that lived didn't care for Demeter's presence near them anymore, she was an unnatural thing.
Beneath her feet the grass where she stood the grass curled and twisted, and with a frown Demeter turned to look towards the other side of the park.
Someone was coming.
It's like a text adventure, except with midgets.

Hercules had not hesitated when his father had asked for his assistance. Despite Hera's warning and Hebe's plea that they go back, his orders went to Zeus. He hadn't wanted to tear away from Hebe, not when he had that dark cloud hovering within this situation.
He looked at the madly swaying trees as he and the other children of Zeus approached the earth goddess. He would be their strength should they need shackles to take her down. Woman or not, Hercules would not hesitate to hurt her to bring her back.
His mission was to get Demeter and take her to Zeus. He would not fail this mission.

Artemis stood beside her brother, wondering how this would go down. She had her quiver with her in case it was needed for protection, but harming Demeter wouldn't exactly help with getting her to Zeus alive.
Perseus had joined the group, but only because his father had ordered him and he would not be seen to disobey the king. He rather wanted to stay right out of it. Tucked away in his bag was an apple that he planned to protect over anything else.

Apollo kept close to Artemis, shifting his weight from one foot to the other. He was restless, and it was becoming obvious. He wasn't entirely sure just how they were going to go about this. The fact that Zeus had told Hercules and Perseus to come along - with two Olympians, did they really need the demi-gods at all? If the situation was less severe, he'd be offended.
As it was, he turned to look at his sister. They would take the lead on this. This wouldn't be easy, and his face conveyed as much to her.

Demeter narrowed her eyes on the children as they came into view, unsure of what they were doing here near to her. "Nephews," she said coolly. "Niece."
Towards these four Demeter had no ill feelings, and Artemis she even considered to be one of her favourite family members. But in her current state of mind she wouldn't care at all if she ripped them limb from limb. In fact, that sounded almost enjoyable.

Hercules knew that look in Demeter's eyes. Possessed by hate. Possessed by her own anger that it had turned her into something vile. Hera had cursed him once with that same look and as it drained from his system he'd realized the mistakes he'd made that he had needed to atone for. Demeter would feel the same, the world would not grow without her.
"Must take you back," Hercules said sternly not open to be pushed aside by Zeus' other children. He was as much a god as Apollo and Artemis, and the only hero that could hold such a title.

Perseus readied himself for a fight, and Artemis narrowed her eyes and moved closer to her brother so she could stay attuned to his actions.
"I'm sorry, Aunt," Artemis whispered to Demeter, and then she nodded to Hercules to let him know he should try to take Demeter now.

Apollo cut his eyes toward Hercules when he spoke. Leave it to him to show no finesse in such a difficult situation.
"You know why we're here" he said, following his sister's words. "I wish things were different."

Demeter laughed. "You're here to stop me, are you?" She glared at them, the laugh falling away quickly. "You think you're capable of it? Just try, little ones."
