True to her word, Julia had an entire evening of pampering set for Tinsel. She had given Tinsel a few days to just relax after arriving home from Aspen, and then she had packed an overnight bag and hauled her way to Manhattan to spoil Tinsel rotten. She arrived at the apartment at around 4pm, which would give them time before the masseuse arrived to get reacquainted with each other. Then Julia was going to cook Tinsel dinner.

She shouldered the bag of groceries so she could knock on Tinsel's door, having already been buzzed in. Julia was so excited to see her girlfriend again after so long, she couldn't wait. Tinsel had been busy, and understandably so, but Julia had missed her!

	"I actually love tater tots," Julia laughed. "But I wasn't sure about them at first! Took me a second! I agree, there's a very clear colour scheme. What cuisine is your favourite then?" she asked, helping herself to more of the goulash. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Well..." Tinsel made a bit of a face and patted her belly. "French pastries. Like, I love pastries. Of just about any culture, actually. Have you tried pani popo? It's a Samoan coconut sweet bread and just so good. But Thai food, I enjoy. And Mexican. And Creole food from New Orleans, like gumbo and- I love good food. From anywhere." She chuckled and took another bite. "Including this!"

	Julia looked charmed when Tinsel listed off so many foods. "I like all of those too, but I haven't tried pani popo! It sounds amazing! We should get some sometime. I like to try new things. And I am glad you like this. It's good food for just chilling." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Tinsel nodded, and leaned on her elbow with a relaxed sigh, digging into her meal with the other hand. Post massage, she was feeling super relaxed, doing what Julia suggested and just chilling for a moment as she ate. She hummed satisfaction with the meal as she did so, enjoying the meal and the moment.

"So what's next?" she asked after a while, getting towards scraping her plate clean. "What else do you have in your bag of tricks?"

	Julia finished hers and then she too a swig of the wine. "Well," she said, grinning wickedly, "you have a few options. I could draw you a bath and more relaxing could happen? With a little smirk, Tinsel sucked her spoon clean and then let it clatter into the empty bowl as she pushed it away. "I think- I think I need to sit on the sofa and let these carbs do their thing. You like that idea?" She winked in a sultry sort of way and blew a kiss as she got up from the table and held out her hand to lead Julia into the living room and away from the dirty dishes. Let the dishes sit for a minute. Washing dishes wasn't pampering.

"I like that idea," Julia nodded. She did grab her glass of wine and hooked her fingers around the bottle though, so they could keep going on that. She let Tinsel lead her to the living room so they could collapse on the sofa. And once the wine glass and bottle were safety on the coffee table, Julia wrapped her arms around her girlfriend. "We gotta go dancing sometime soon again."

"Mmm," Tinsel agreed, slouching down on the sofa so she could rest her heels on the coffee table. "Yeah, for sure. In February though. I'd have to put a bra on if we went out dancing now and, I don't know, I'm not down for that." She finished her mostly empty wine glass and then set that down and slipped an arm around Julia. "These hoodies hide a multitude of sins."

	Tinsel had taken her bra off for the massage, and not bothered putting it back on. Honestly, she was wondering why she'd bothered wearing it to start with. "Ha! Well wow it up then." She gave a tiny shoulder-shimmy and laughed. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
