Uh, has anyone noticed there's an outbreak going on outside? This is not good. At all. Has everyone in here been tested? If someone gets bit or amplifies in here, we're like, really, really screwed. And not in a fun way.

So, um, Nikki Sanders? If you're awake, like, I'm Buffy.

This is so not where I was a minute ago. Is this what happens when you die? You go to zombie hell?

What happened to the CDC? They're supposed to take care of these things when they happen! They're not supposed to just leave us here to die. And no phones? What is this, are we caught in the middle of the Rising?

Oh, you blew up the one in Georgia? Why? But that's not such a big deal, is it? There are lots of other ones. Call one of them. I'm sure I can get one of these phones to call out.

The CDC takes care of all of that stuff. They stop the outbreaks.

Sure it does. Someone spontaneously amplified, probably, and then bit someone, then someone else bit someone...and then the ones who had been zombies for a while joined them. Easy peasy.
