"For about two years. I used to live on the outskirts of Seattle, but I moved here after high school," she said. "Is this your first time here?"
Annabelle was starting to think that AJ was less of a creep than a nice guy. He seemed a little awkward, but he was nice, and she didn't mind a little awkwardness here and there, as long as he wasn't a serial killer in disguise, and she was pretty sure he wasn't.
"Thanks!"
She sat down on a chair, her feet sore from standing up all night in heels. She normally wore flats during the day, and although she wore heels every night she worked here, her feet still didn't seem to get accustomed to them.
As soon as she sat down, however, she felt the cool evening breeze brush against her, and she shivered, wishing she had brought a jacket with her.
