Annabelle had been planning to pay with cash, but realized after opening her wallet that she had forgotten to bring enough cash with her. She didn't like using her credit card - she always felt guilty using it for some reason, and using cash let her keep track of her money better. She had been conscientiously saving up money to eventually attend college, and she wasn't about to stop now.
"Card," she said, taking out her credit card. She was about to hand it to him when he realized he had forgotten her coffee.
"Oh, it's fine, I'm not in a hurry. Take your time!"
