Kyle ordered a screwdriver and leaned his back against the bar, head down, glancing at Jay from the corner of his eyes. "Sorry, again," he said, "I'm not usually so distracted, I'm sure you've got better things in mind than to chat with a clumsy ass like me."
He might have been smiling a little and yeah, so it might've been a little bit of flirting. But this Jay seemed friendly enough and Kyle was ready to be distracted from his worries. He tucked his hands into his pockets and ignored the fact that he had once sat in that back booth with Robin and their friends and laughed and been happy.
