Kyle paused, then smiled again, "Thanks, but I think it's supposed to be me making up for my clumsiness, not you." He was, if still slightly uncomfortable with chatting so easily, still charmed by the pleasant Australian. He stepped inside glancing around the bar, it wasn't overcrowded, it's being a Sunday night, but crowded enough to not be uncomfortable. There was nothing worse than sitting in a too quiet bar and striking up a conversation when you know everyone's listening because they have nothing better to do.
He was dressed for a night out, yes he still remembered how to do that. And had made sure he actually looked good and not like he hadn't been sleeping and was generally miserable. It actually felt good to get cleaned up and head out like he was single again and ignoring the fact that Robin would never go for him, that seemed like a while a go but it really wasn't that far off.
