She smiled a small smile. Her personal past surfaced at the strangest times, but he didn't seem put off at all.
"It isn't a topic that comes up very often," she began. "The menu... the restaurant, I suppose, has reminded me. It was a very long time ago." She sighed. "I met him while in Africa, early on in my time with various groups, trying to make a difference. He was... a very gentle, but determined man. He's been dead for fifteen years, as of April 27th, actually." Lisa pressed her lips together in thought. "At least, that's when they think it happened."
If Noah was interested in hearing more about him, he could always ask. She didn't mind, though it might not be a conversation he would consider appropriate, what with dinner and the way they both seemed to be feeling.
