"My family is originally from Missouri, which is approximately the center of the US. My grandparents had a farm very far out in the Ozark Mountains. It's where my brothers and I spent our summers, helping him work." Noah smiled in memory. "I'm from St. Louis--the place with the giant croquet hoop, remember?" He'd sent her a picture of the St. Louis Arch, but it had been a while.
"I'm a happy drunk as well. There tends to be flailing dancing, off-key singing, and apparently, a very affectionate nature. As well as a tendency to not see the point of clothing," Noah said, then grinned, ducked his head and rubbed at the back of his neck. "Luckily for me, most drunkenness seemed to take place in the summer and not in winter, with a couple of feet of snow on the ground. That could've been somewhat unfortunate."
