Broadcast - Action 7 News - Seattle The following will be broadcast on Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at 7:00 AM on Channel 7, interrupting the morning news.
[The picture remains in silence for seven seconds, then a voice speaks, warbled by some sort of voice masking program.]
Good morning, Seattle. I'm 7. Some of you may recognize my name, and that's good. I want you to recognize me. I want you, and your government, to know that I exist. I also want you to know that I'm not alone.
I intend no harm, but I also don't intend to stand idly by as our basic freedoms are whittled away. Unless we do something, the government will continue to overstep its boundaries.
The question is - What do you plan to do about it?
Come gather 'round people Wherever you roam And admit that the waters Around you have grown And accept it that soon You'll be drenched to the bone. If your time to you Is worth savin' Then you better start swimmin' Or you'll sink like a stone For the times they are a-changin'.
