Blue Skies Who: Jeff Novak & Jae-Mi Song. What: Watching the clouds drift by... When: Jan 9, Mid-afternoon. Where: In the park. Rating: PG Status: COMPLETE.
He'd been going since six o'clock, up before the sun. As it was an overcast morning in January, it didn't really matter if the sun was there or not, but at least the sky was a brighter shade of grey. By noon, he'd seen seven clients and stopped to eat something: lentil soup at a cafe he frequented. Then it was three more clients and he was done.
Time for some green space.
The sky had cleared a bit, and though cool, the sun was making an appearance. Jeff Novak squinted up at it as he crossed through the park, backpack looped over both shoulders. When he reached a low wall near some hedges, he let his bag slide to the ground and stretched out on top of the wall. He figured he'd just try to clear his mind for a while. He'd always liked watching the clouds as a kid.
