"Me?" George blinked and looked at Jasper. "I think the government needs a wake-up call, big time, because what it's doing is against the basic fundamentals of the Universal Bill of Human Rights, which was signed in this country more than fifty years ago!" she said, reining in her outburst even as it started. Her mouth twisted into a wry smile.
"But I don't know that it is really going to benefit from bombing its own citizens," she added, not even believing her own words, but fervently wishing they were true. "Surely they'd have other ways of taking down such an organistation like the House of Spades without killing off the actual people, intelligent, reproductively capable women and men to discredit them, wouldn't they?"
