She nodded, picking up a piece of the cinnamon scroll and popping it in her mouth while he talked.
"It should, indeed," she agreed. "But who knows, with what happened all those years ago, that stopped us from having babies, to now trying to fix it up. It must be just the side affects of the drugs." She shook her head sadly. "We spend our lives telling our kids that 'drugs' are bad, and the government goes and proves it in one fell swoop!" she said, half laughing, half sadly serious.
