Jay brightened like a summer day when he spoke of his work, and Nathan leaned forward, caught in his enthusiasm. It was good to see passion for work--that usually translated well into passion in other areas.
Sophie returned with their seafood, a huge pail of clams, mussels, shrimp, Dungeness crab and snow crab, as well as towels, mallets, picks, and nutcrackers. They didn't bother with plates--that was what the butcher paper was for.
