Some times Jae-Mi thought her hasty decision to move to Seattle was a mistake. She'd always been the type to jump at any chance that appealed. This was one of those times. Jae-Mi had been actually living in Seattle for all of a whole week, but had barely ventured out beyond a three mile radius of her apartment building. She wasn't expected to start practicing with the orchestra until the middle of next week. But she knew how to get to the rehearsal hall, at least she had that down. That was more than she could usually say for herself.
It was her fourth day to roll out of bed at the crack of noon. She showered in a hurry and threw on the first clothes than jumped out at her from her closet. It wasn't any thing fancy, a yellow tank under a bright pink sweat shirt that hung off a thin shoulder. Never a fan of pants, she grabbed a pair of black yoga tights and threw on some pink flats. Once dressed, she went to the bathroom to dry her hair and threw it up in a ponytail.
Jae-Mi grabbed a jacket and her purse, and set off to find something to eat. She still hadn't bothered to buy groceries for the apartment, but she kept promising herself she would soon. She ignored the fact that she knew she wouldn't. Pushing sunglasses up over her eyes, she started down the hall to the elevator. She was still exhausted from staying up the night before, cleaning everything in her apartment for the third time. She pushed the down button and set her purse down to stretch, hoping to work out the kinks in her back.
