Her cool was catching and Dan felt himself relax a little. He wasn't alone here and he wasn't risking anything he hadn't risked before. The meds alone affected him, otherwise there was nothing to fear.
He twisted the bag off the back of his chair, holding it open as he searched inside. The sides were deep enough and dark enough to hide the nature of the papers within, and he threw a glance over them before retrieving mints and returning the bag to its previous position.
