Jasper parked his car a few blocks from the market, glad for the walk to stretch his legs and give him a chance to see if anything new had been added. Backpack over one shoulder, with extra cloth bags inside, he decided to start with the produce section. He preferred fresh over canned, any day. Picking up a basket, he waded in with the crowd.
Apples were first - Empires, if possible - then oranges - rarer at the moment. He paused at the community board, his eye caught by a few fliers for garage sales and the like. There was one that stood out and it wasn't a sale. Something from one of the 'terrorist' movements, no doubt, given the content.
There were a few pinned together. Jasper helped himself to one, scanned it, then folded it and stuck it into his back pocket. Something to digest better at home. He wondered if Teja had seen it. Her department had experienced a lot of bad press, but he didn't like to think it deserved all of it.
