Vivian rested her chin in her hand, smiling wryly. "It seems our Ms Weinstein had a few versions of events, doesn't it?" The rape accusations had been put on record, but they were buried knee-deep in counter-claims and lack of evidence and next to no follow-up.
But what was done, was done and she had no interest in unearthing sleeping murders. She had more pressing things to worry about. "In your opinion, do you think there's any chance Ms Weinstein might use her newfound fame to revisit those reports... now that her ex-husband has a whole movement dedicated to him? Do you think she might wish to set the record straight?" More importantly, could they use her for a mouthpiece or was she in it for herself?
