He listened, nodding. "It's just like the rest of Seattle. People assume that since we're no New York, we must be tiny--and as you can see, that's just not the case." He swept an arm out to indicate the mass of people on the streets. "Even after the population decline the world has suffered, there're still plenty of people here."
He scratched his head then put his hands back in his pockets. "I can kind of understand why you'd have a large class. I mean, you're teaching regular math, right? And college students are required to take one or two math classes no matter what they're majoring in. You'd have less students if you took up some of the more advanced stuff, probably."
