Ah, yes--this was the reason she had taken any sort of interest in him in college. He was capable of just walking away. He had admitted finding her attractive, and yet he had walked away without any hesitation. That was the sort of response that kept her interested. Not once had she regretted helping to get him his job at work--she liked having challenging coworkers.
