If they ever made it to his door - and they'd better not - he'd be long gone. More likely, he'd ne able to direct them to an abandoned location. His mother was not getting involved or harmed by this.

Alex checked his watch. "Well, I have to go. You know how it is, I'm sure." They were probably as close to tracing the call as he ever wanted them to be. "Maybe we'll chat again, sometime, Operative. Have a nice day."
He disconnected the call, pulled out from their systems and ran a wipe on his trail. Then he grabbed his jacket and headed out to dispose of the burn phone in a completely different location that his home.
