The waiter hovered nearby, looking inquisitively at them, so Noah turned his attention toward the menu. "I've not been to this restaurant before. The executive admin for our department suggested this place," he said. "She recommended either the shrimp lemone pasta dish or the Neapolitan chicken as her favorites," he said when he looked up and saw her frowning a little at her menu.
When she mentioned her age, Noah took a moment to look at the curve of her cheek, the line of her jaw and throat revealed by the loose ponytail at the nape of her neck. He really couldn't tell, but had assumed mid-thirties at the oldest. But with Jason and Jae-Mi, she was more likely closer to his age, which made pregnancy riskier. Particularly with the shortened time of pregnancy, which was just one more worry for them to deal with.
The waiter popped up at their elbows the moment they looked up from the menus. He'd decided on the shrimp lemone. "What would you like to have, May?"
