Who: Caleb Grey & Amy Chen What Caleb invades Amy's bubble. Where a lunch cafe When Monday Afternoon, 1-ish Rating PG, likely.
Caleb had no flights planned for the day. There was something invigorating about not having to work on a Monday. Typically he would be half-way to Florida by now, but Mr Timmons had, for perhaps the first time in his life, taken a week off from work. After sleeping in until 9, Caleb had forced himself out of bed - he had laundry to do and a few errands to run. His mother expected him to drop by with groceries sometime today. Aside for that though, he intended to spend the day pleasurably. He had considered asking his brother Brandon to take up a few games of bowling, but the thought of his wife potentially answeirng the phone had detered that plan. Instead, he found himself wandering the streets of downtown Seattle in search of something to satisfy his rumbling stomach.
He ducked into the first cafe he saw, surprised to notice how crowded it was inside. There was a line of people at the counter to order, and most of the seats were already taken. He'd never been here before, but the amount of traffic assured him it would be a wait well worth it. He stood in line for almost 20 minuets before finally being able to order a BLT. Taking his tray, he looked around the room, intent on finding some place to sit. He was hardly disheartened by his prospects, Caleb would not mind inviting himself to sit with someone else.
It only took a moment for him to find someone sitting at a table alone - he made a beeline for it, least someone else be of a similar mind.
"Hello," he said cheerfully once he'd approached the table. "You aren't waiting for someone are you?" Not that it mattered, there were 3 empty seats here. He set his trey down before the person could answer, and continued, "I'm Caleb. Your a perfect stranger. And now we're having lunch together." He chuckled a little. "Pardon me if you will, there are no other seats in here."
