Well, at least he wasn't trying to act like he didn't know anything. That would have been far more suspicious as who just comes outside in the middle of the night to keep tabs on a tree stump in a wooded area. He obviously had information, even if he was underplaying it.
"I believe charged is an understatement." The power signature didn't belong to Moloch, or of anything she was familiar with. "There's something...." unsettling, troublesome.. "almost sinister to it. Or dueling perhaps. It is difficult to tell." It was a gambit, relaying anything about the fact she could indeed sense magic, even if at the moment hers was weak. Perhaps had she realized the truth about Jeremy.. but no. She had thought him the Sin Eater and that was what explained the power she had felt from him..
"Apart..ment?" Well, she had been displaced two hundred some odd years and they didn't really have all that terminology in Purgatory. Somewhere safe, though. Was anywhere safe? That was just one of many questions. Especially with her concerns about the stump. Nor did she have a home to go back to. Not anymore. "I see..."
What was there to do? Until she had more information about the stump, there wasn't much she could do. And if this apartment building thing was indeed safe, perhaps she could at least recharge. Gain some footing. A slight nod was given as she started to follow him towards what she could only hope to be a town.
"Do you know the cause of this charge you speak of?" Katrina was more than capable of going somewhere safe as well as gathering information. Who knew what was waiting in the darkness, after all.
