John didn't feel so quite put out from the tree's most recent hijinks. At least he was still himself. Or having to deal with angry ghosts. Though, he had missed talking to his father. Being 'tied' to someone in this way, though.. that was a new one. It wasn't so bad. Could be worse, it could have been a complete stranger. Allison was nice, plus he knew her a little bit, from seeing each other around school in passing, plus she had helped him getting into the lacrosse team. And had mentioned being good at archery, which was totally kickass in John's opinion. Another thing he had in common was that he played with teammates on the school lacrosse team, who also happened to be friends of hers. So all in all, this wasn't too bad. He had to admit it was a nice apartment too. Of course it should stay that way, so he'd been doing his part to keep his areas tidy, use good bathroom etiquete, i.e. toilet seat down, rinsing the sink after cleaning himself up, replacing used towels, etc.
He had been sitting in a chair nearby, just enough that neither would feel any pain from getting too far apart. He had homework of his own. Some math, bit of history, some science. Thank God the term just started or that he didn't have any big tests soon. He would occasionally take a break to play his PSP when he'd notice her taking breaks as well. He'd occasionally wondered how Erin had been doing with her, umm, roommate as the case was. Hopefully as good as his own circumstances were right now. From seeing the network posts, it seamed to be alright so far. "Yeah, I'm good," he said with a light yawn as he look up to meet her glance. It would probably be nice to get a break from the homework now. "I am a bit hungry, actually. Maybe a ham sandwich? I could go for some orange juice too.. if there's still some here, otherwise ice water or Coke might be good."
