Who: Dean Winchester and Letha Godfrey What: an almost-date at a burger joint Where: Buster’s Burgers - Beacon Hills’ finest burger place. When: Forward dated to early Saturday evening Warnings: Delicious food! Status: Closed/Incomplete
Buster’s Burgers wasn’t the classiest place Letha had been to, but that wasn’t saying much considering what her life back home had been like. The Godfreys were a wealthy family. The wealthiest in Hemlock Grove. Even her father who turned up his nose at his sister-in-law throwing her money around and tried to live a normal life in spite of his wealth would have overlooked this burger joint. Letha liked it, though. It did smell like grease, but their burgers were the best she’d ever had. It made sense to bring Dean here, being the carnivore that he was.
She still felt a little strange around him since their daughter had shown up for those two, oddball weeks. Letha didn’t know what they were. It was obvious from Sammy’s presence what they might eventually be, but she had no idea what they were presently. Even as they walked in to the restaurant and Letha reached to hold his hand she still wondered what Dean’s thoughts about them as a couple were.
“I’ve been thinking of this all day.” She confessed with a grin. “When you bite into one of these burgers you’ll understand what I mean.” Truthfully, the part she had been most looking forward to wasn’t the burger at all. She’d been thinking about going on a kind-of-sort-of date with Dean Winchester.
