"He was a cute kid, I kind of miss him," Derek admitted, fiddling with is fork. "He was such a cuddler, and I have no idea how I could possibly have a kid who is used to snuggling me, ya know? I've never been the snuggling type."
He looked across the table at Hayley, head tilted. He wouldn't mind snuggling with her, she was just his type. Obviously this wasn't a new thought, just a new thought for this version of him.
"Isaac would love having them around, he's really missing Mason," he said, grinning. "He's a natural father, that one. But now he wants one so badly, I just hope he doesn't do something stupid. I'm counting on Allison for that one."
"Anyway, you guys can come over to the apartment anytime, Isaac will keep the girls happy while we cook dinner. What do you think?"
