Hayley smiled a bit in thanks when he opened the car door for her. She slid into the seat and waved a dismissive hand at him. "Oh, I don't care what the place looks like, the food is the important part." she assured him with a nod.
There was a tiny bit of silence between the two of them for a moment before Hayley decided that all of her debatIng crap at the house earlier was stupid and that it needed to just be settled one way or the other right now. "I have a question and, I really hope it doesn't make this weird or whatever, but...I just kind of want to know," she hesitated for a moment before just coming out with it. "Is this, like, a date or...just dinner between friends...?"
