Lynch - Match

Today Aidan flies out in bright pink gloves and seeker goggles. It clashes with the green of his Kestrels uniform but from the smile on his face he doesn't care. He does a lap around the stadium before things get started, arm out and swooping low over the stands, barely out of reach of the cheering kestrel fans reaching up for him.

Lynch outclasses Gudgeon by more than a few levels, and there's little doubt in most of the stadium who's going to catch the snitch. But during play the bright pink accented seeker keeps drawing attention, from his opponents and the crowd, for his flying and his new colour.

No blagging foul stops him, when the snitch comes into view after hours of swooping around Lynch makes quick work of it. In no time there's a pink fist held triumphantly in the air, snitch in hand and victory sealed.

Aidan does his victory lap after his teammates pile on to hug him, much like his prematch lap with his pink glove out, just now with the snitch included. When he lands, he smiles up to the crowd and takes a little bow.

Sorry Gudgeon, pink comes out on top today.

	Jason is holding court in the Kenmare section. He is excited to see Lynch play. And while he might not be so excited about the match over all (how exciting is any team against the Cannons?), he does play close attention in the race for the snitch. And is definitely cheering loudly when Lynch takes his victory lap. (Reply to this) (Parent)

As the press crowd around the winning team, there's no doubt that they're heading for the bright pink and the Kestrels seem to encourage it as a few stand behind their seeker during his interview.

"In the BIL hearings you said you were neither for nor against the motion but does this very public show of pink mean otherwise?"

"My position on the BIL proposal hasn't changed. This movement of muggleborn pink is bigger than just that proposal. It's a push for visibility and awareness.

Muggleborn wizards and witches are a big part of wizarding society, the war didn't get rid of us. We're still here, and we aren't limited to one team or one country. In this bloc you're starting to see that we're all over this league, and hopefully this spreads and soon you'll see it's not just this league. It's the ministry, the shops, the industries, everywhere.

We want people to start to realize that we aren't just the anomaly, we're a significant part of the wizarding world. And now is the time to start embracing all witches and wizards, not just the ones born into a magical house.

So if you're a muggleborn, please, consider taking up the neon pink. Show your community that you're here and you're proud of who you are. They should be too."
