Good evening. Congratulations on the decisive win, and best of luck to our own Flower of Scotland in her recovery from another injury.
A couple of notes for you all today. First, as we draw nearer to the Fall Classic match against Montrose on the 11th of November, we are doing some additional promotional events. Our regular Luncheons with Laddie will continue, so please do remember to check the schedule for your day if you haven't already; in addition, we are hosting a Samhain feast for our supporters at sunset on the 31st, during which we will honour Prides players, staff, and fans who have passed into the Great Beyond. I am told that several spectral members of the Portree family have arranged to make appearances, including former Chaser Sandy Cameron, former Keeper Rabbie MacKinnon, and former manager Fingal "Breakneck" Stuart, whom the old hands among you may recall as the ghost with the enormous mustache who used to haunt the stairwells of the training grounds and gave us all many a scare until he was persuaded to relocate to Dunvegan Castle. You are all encouraged to attend.
Second, I will be out of office on Thursday and Friday, the 9th and 10th of November, during which time I am not to be contacted unless it is a legitimate emergency, or I will be extremely displeased.
Any comments or questions, as usual, are welcome.
Congratulations on this week's Montrose win. I'm sure you are very proud of your players, and I know after that showing the Prides are more eager than ever to face your Magpies next month.
My son David's third birthday is on the 31st; we are planning a small celebration for him with a few of his young friends. He particularly asked if your children could come, and we would of course be delighted to host you and your little ones in return for your gracious invitation of last month. Ten o'clock on Tuesday?
David picked the most inconvenient day of the year to be born, I swear. I may have to miss his birthday party for a team event, which I know is terrible of me, but he's only three, and Trev will be there. Surely he won't even remember if I'm not. Right?
Anyway, Charlie and I have talked about taking all the kids to that Montrose Halloween fair on Saturday. If you and Mum would like to come along, I thought we could make a family day of it.
