Quidditch is an excellent reminder of just why I don't gamble. I enjoy the potential and the story too much and can't help wishing for the more dramatic outcome, but only a fool pins all their hopes on stories.
In Quidditch, at least. Much more effective in dueling. On which note, happy to say I've cleared my schedule enough to go to WILD tomorrow. Rather hoping Nova Scotia will make an appearance. I've not seen her in action yet but by all accounts she's quite the exciting new talent and I like what I hear about her interaction with Dexter and Sinistra.

All the best brain waves come away from one's work. Writing this down before I forget, and maybe you'll have a chance to think on it before I see you tomorrow.
I may have thought of a solution to our transport problem, re: prisoners (arrestees, whatever the right word is) to the new cells. You may be too young, but do you recall those great blue boxes muggles used to have around? Something along those lines, small but big enough to walk into, stretched on the inside slightly to accommodate a few small things: a desk with any needful paperwork, a portkey to Hogsmeade, etc. We'd have to check with the invisibility task force, naturally, to see how much work it would take to make them properly Unnoticeable and Unremarkable. But put one in each city we patrol and it could be much less risky than disapparating in broad daylight on High Street. They'd be safe apparation points, too.
While I'm at it, we'll need to scout out potential locations for our long-term offices, as what we have right now will scarcely suit once we've grown. Not sure I like the idea of bringing the muggle side to our permanent location anyhow. Dewar isn't likely to try anything, but that doesn't mean the next man mayn't. I'm partial to Dunfermline, but we'll see what's available.
Wish we could convince Hogwarts to get back with us before the end of term. I know they're busy but we've got to get to work and the owls so far have been less informative than I like. But perhaps we'll simply need to go to the mountain ourselves, maybe on the next Hogsmeade trip.
