FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Puddlemere United has released their starting Keeper, Benjy Williams, to accept an offer with Canadian team The Stonewall Stormers in an undisclosed settlement.

"Benjy was very up front with us in pursuing this deal, and we're pleased at how smoothly the transition has gone," said Puddlemere Coach Bobby Blatcher. "We wish him all the best in Canada."

Puddlemere's Reserve Keeper, Oliver Wood, has stepped into the starting position, while the Reserve spot has been filled with newcomer Jilbert Jerape.


News just went out, so now I can talk about it. Though I've only known for a day or two myself. See you on the pitch, Montrose!

Good thing I keep in top shape year round, even if they're not playing me. Since I've known about this for all of two days, and we're up against Montrose on Saturday.

Remember how you felt going up against the Cannons? This is the top-ranked instead of the bottom-ranked, but somehow it's the same nerves, I think.
