Cav and I have broken things off. We're parting as friends but I think the situation with Elsie was too much for us to continue on.

I'm all right and not heartbroken or anything. I just thought you'd all want to know.

The owl was my gift from Cav, along with my walking papers. It's not a surprise under the circumstances and I'm all right. And I don't care if my stupid love life is in a mess, we're still having this party tonight.

Also I am absolutely going to eat some of the sweets this afternoon. If a girl can't have sweets when she's going through a breakup, what's the point of them?

	All right. I'm ready for New Year's, but that's every year. The party is going to be fun, lots of Portree and Montrose and Mungo's folk. I don't know if Meaghan is inviting the Weird Sisters or not. Actually, please do. I would like nothing more than to be distracted from all this Elsie drama, that damned charity match (I'm still stuck on rosters in my head, and if Elsie steps down there's no point to the whole thing but have to go through with it anyway, oh and face an Englishman most likely. Joy of joys), and wondering if certain players are going to come out of this break in playable condition.

I said she should! I think the party is a good idea ~~even more now th~~, besides Florrie doesn't get to let loose and enjoy herself as much as she should.
