[Montrose players & staff]

I am very grateful to the McGonagall family for hosting me since I came to your wonderful country. Now I have rented a small house in a town called Dundee and I will move there after Christmas. I am wanting to invite my team and friends for a Bulgarian dinner at this small house in January. You all have been very welcoming to me and I want to have something for you. I think 7 January will be the day, because my best friend visits me then. Please tell me if this is a good day or not.

That's an English metaphor. British folk are funny like that; we almost can't say what we mean straight. Anyroad, if she doesn't suit, we'll look round and see who else might like you.

Ernie's a good kid. He had things really hard his last year in school, which was the war year. I think he's floundered a bit since then, at least with people. He's great with fancy charms and transfigurations and so on, and he's a better arithmancer than I'll ever be. But I know he struggles so I'm glad he's making friends again.

It must have been very hard to be in Hogwarts during the war, where the battle was. I'm sorry for that. He ~~I think he's~~ Ernie is very special, very important, and I think he will change the world. I'm very honored to be a friend to him. And all your family, of course. I never thought that a family of team owners would be so kind.

I think there are a lot of people associated with Montrose right now who are going to make a big difference. Jason and Ernie are first among them in different ways. I'm just glad I'm in a position to lend a little support to them both of them as a kinsman and as part of the owner's family.

I'm sorry if you've had different experiences before. For a lot of us who are involved in Quidditch in Britain, our team is like our family. Maybe it's different in other parts of the world, but that's what we try to do here, and we're glad to have you as part of ours.
