WHO: Emmeline and Remus
WHAT: 'Working' at the Shop
WHERE: Puff Pastries & More
WHEN: Wednesday afternoon
RATING: TBD
STATUS: Incomplete

It was so nice to have someone working book side that she didn't have to worry about. Emmeline was rather impressed with how quickly Remus had caught on with the job. She had to train the last guy for a week before he began to grasp things. Part of her wished that she knew of Remus' secret long before now, then he could have always worked there.

After the usual morning rush for coffee and pastries, the shop began to slow down a bit. It was normal for the middle of the week. Not to mention a lot of people were placing owl orders lately. So as her baking assistant prepared the next days bread, Em made her way over to the book side to check in on Remus.

He had just rang out a customer, and Em smiled as the woman took her bag and headed out of the shop. "How are you holding up?" She grinned as her eyes traveled around her shop. It wasn't long before they fell upon the object of quite a few of her dreams. She had no idea what his name was, or what he did, and it didn't matter. She just enjoyed the view. The man was sitting in one of her over sized chairs reading a book. Licking her lips, Em leaned against the counter and watched him as his eyes traced over the words on the page. "Oh the things I would do to that man..." She grinned a little, her mind already wondering.

Remus straightened up, blinking in bemusement. Fantasies? Seriously? He wasn't sure if he should be disturbed or flattered. And then abruptly the conversation took a turn that Remus would never have expected and for a moment he was utterly speechless. Did Em really just say that? She was laughing, so Remus decided she must have been joking and he let out a shaky laugh himself.

"Remind me to lock that door next time," he joked ruefully, leaning on the counter again, chancing a glance over at their new favourite customer. "Honestly? I don't know. I haven't been in that situation and as I'm sure you can imagine, there are very few books with accurate information in them. And it's not something I'm about to experiment with."

It was becoming apparent to Emmeline, that even though Remus lived in a house with two other boys, sex was obviously not a topic that they discussed openly. Which she found quite odd. Maybe she just assumed that males were much more open than females when it came to talking about it, but she could be wrong.

Taking a peek at the man in the chair, she smiled and bit her lip before glancing to Remus. "Well... not that I am offering up a test subject, but I think it should be something that is looked into further. I would imagine it is rather hard to so carefully control all aspects during a situation like that. As humans, we are already considered mammals, we already have that animalistic instinct. So what happens when you are completely lost in the moment? Free of all thoughts and giving into those instincts? I mean... if you are constantly worried about your every move... your ever action, then you can't possibly be enjoying the experience completely."

She thought about her words for a moment and shook her head as blood rushed to her cheeks. "Wait... I'm not saying.." Laughing nervously, she grinned. "I'm not saying how you should ya know.. It's just. I think everyone should fully enjoy all aspects of life. And I guess I worry that you don't." Hopefully that made some sort of sense to him, or else she was just even more inappropriate than she realized.
