Rhys didn't know all the much about children and in truth, he didn't actually know ANYTHING about kids. He didn't have any younger siblings and his brother's wife didn't have any kids yet, so his experience consisted of watching families in movies. As far as he could tell, kids were either awesome like in Big Daddy or terrors like in The Orphan. But hey, he could relate to the adoration because of a pudding cup. Who didn't like pudding when a pretty redhead handed it out?
Rhys took a steadying breath to keep himself focused on the conversation and to sound at least somewhat intelligent. "Man, I can't blame the kids. If some of my professors slipped me a pudding cup now and then my whole view on school would be different. I'd look forward to going to class every day and I might even pay attention during lectures." What could he say? He really liked pudding. "Maybe I'll bring that up to Professor Arnolds," he suggested, referring to their Sociology Professor. "So a field study can be done on a direct correlation of pudding to the general happiness of the students."
"And what do I like to do?" he asked, oblivious to her flirting. "Well, I play football on the school team and even though it's the off season, it still keeps me pretty busy with training. I also go hiking up in the mountains whenever I get a chance. What about you? You can't spend all day doing school work and taking care of kids."
