[Castor never noticed it, but when people came too close, he had a tendency to flinch. If people swung an arm too close to his face, he'd back up. And two people really knew why he did this, only one of which he actually, truly card for. The way he reacted was subtle, noticeable but not distracting. Over the years, he'd reacted less violently, flinched less and trusted more easily.
But only one person could ever understand just how difficult it was to trust.]
