Lisa finished up the dishes while Roger read to Brighton. She'd been waiting all night for a chance to talk. Things were weighing on her mind, and had been since her and Marcus made up. She wasn't sure how she was going to tell Roger what happened. It wasn't that bad in retrospect. She had pushed Marcus away, after all. But it still wasn't good and she didn't want to keep it from her boyfriend.

Lisa was pretty sure he'd react badly, but it had to be said. She frowned as she placed the last dish in the cabinet. No longer occupied, she grabbed a bottle of wine and two glasses and headed to the living room. It wasn't long before she was joined by Roger.

"Is he asleep?" She whispered.
