Emma couldn't stand working anymore. She left the nurses' station as soon as Tori gave her the OK to come to her office. She couldn't believe how messed up she was from the fight with Tim - but she also couldn't believe how wrong she'd been about him. She ran into Tori's office, noted her best friend was sitting behind the desk alone and locked the door before she started to cry. "I can't stop crying! It's horrible! I can't stop; I cry all the time!" she cried, tears rolling down her pinkened cheeks.

	Tori ran her hand up and down Emma's back, conjuring a handkerchief with her free hand. She held it out to Emma, her expression dark. She was already plotting the castration of this horrible man, but maybe she'd have to kill him afterward. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Emma thanked her and wiped at her eyes and nose. "When I went into his office and we were yelling at each other... I did apologize for the mistake, because it was a mistake. He can talk to other girls, I mean, we work in a hospital," she pointed out. "Anyway... I told him that I didn't know how to behave in a relationship that I'd never been in relationship like the one we have and... and..." she started crying again. "I told him that I love him!"

	Emma let out a sad laugh. "No, please don't. I'm hoping against hope that this was a stupid fight but... I don't know. 	At Tori's sigh, Emma wanted to glare. "What do you want me to do? Come on, just tell me what you really think. I mean, clearly you don't like him but am I supposed to give up because of one fight? Tori shook her head. "I told you already, and you didn't listen. If you really love him, then you can't give up after one fight. But you don't want to go chasing after him, so perhaps you're better off without. That's my best advice." She paused, folding her arms across her stomach and one leg over the other.

"I'm not above chasing after Draco." She added, softly. "Now that I have him, I don't want to go without."

	Emma pondered the thought; chasing after him. "So... I should tell him why I love him... make him see that... this is worth it," she said softly. "I can't stand not being around him," Emma told her. Emma nodded, though her irrational side didn't want to let him go. "OK... I will... work on that," she nodded, walking over to the mirror to fluff her hair. Emma wasn't used to men rejecting her or even looking in other girls' directions - she was young, beautiful and... there was only one man she really wanted and it looked like no amount of hair fluffing was going to help.

	Tori stood from her chair and started straightening things around her office. "Really, it's going to be all right." She said, turning around to face Emma after a moment.
