Who? Adrian + Cho (hope this is alright!)
When? Mon morning
Where? The hospital
What? Adrian recognizes the Triage nurse
Rating? Low. Unless Adrian gets all awkward.

Another morning, another body. He had only one body to open up before noon today and the rest of his work shift would be all paperwork. Exciting day. Adrian entered Mungo's in his typical black robes, hair properly slicked, and a cup of coffee in one hand.

Adrian passed by the Triage station, as he always did, to get to the staircase. This time, as he flitted his eyes passed the triage nurse, something about her caught his eye. He paused halfway past the desk and turned around without a second thought, promptly marching up to her.

"I know you." He stated bluntly.

"You can fix my television," he deadpanned almost instantly, looking down at her. It was what they were talking about over the journals, no? She was that girl he was conversing with, yes?

"Actually," she said and climbed up on a chair to reach the top shelf in a cabinet, "I asked if I could come watch you fix your television. I never claimed to be able to help." Pulling down a box of empty vials, Cho handed them to Adrian. "You made that assumption on you own."

An eyebrow turned upward ever so slightly at her response, cracking his otherwise fixed, expressionless face.

His eyes flitted down to the vials as they somehow found themselves in his hand.

"What are these?"

Carefully climbing off of her chair, Cho raised her eyebrows. "Vials," she said plainly. "I didn't want to drop them." Taking the box back from Adrian, Cho added it to a pile of charts and folders. Over the years she'd become an expert at working while having conversations with people. Things never stopped in Triage and she didn't normally allow herself to take a break.

"Have you ever tried to fix a television before?"

Watching her as she worked, he got the impression that she was a very busy person. Always moving around and fidgeting. It made him nervous.

"No. I've never needed to," his eyes moved from watching her to looking at the pile of charts. Then back to her. Her words were starting to sink in. "Why would you come to watch if you don't know how to help?"

"For giggles, I suppose. And curiosity. It's not often you see people attempt to fix a piece of Muggle technology or even have one to begin with. I was interested." Cho heard another nurse call her name and turned to add her signature to a order for some bloodwork.

"Tell you what," she continued after turning her attention back to Adrian. "It can't be all that complicated. Did you purchase a book? On instruction manual?"

Giggles? He wondered in his head. What could be so funny about watching him attempt to fix something?

"No." He replied. "I've been using fix spells. My television set now has a humerus bone growing out of it."

"You cannot expect to fix something Muggle with magic," she said with a small roll of her eyes. "You're lucky it didn't blow up in your face." Cho had a bad habit of lecturing people and as much as she tried to stop herself, it came out from time to time.

"Where is this telly anyway? At your home?"

He blinked a couple of times. Was he lecturing him?

"Yes. In my living room," he responded, still watching her closely.

"All right then. When should I come by? I'll bring a book or two and you can feed us and we'll get your television working. I won't even laugh, I promise." Cho offered Adrian a small smile. She wasn't that good at being nice to people, but she had no reason to be outright rude to him.

"Oh." Adrian wasn't prepared for that. He should have seen it coming, but it really did come far too quickly.

"I end my shift promptly at 7. I make a trip to the grocery at 7:15 to purchase my arugula and red meat, ending around 7:30. Since today is a Monday, I may browse the pastry aisle before setting home," he recited thoroughly. "Walking back, I hope to get back by 7:45."

Cho did her best to hide the surprise on her face. Adrian was an odd bloke, wasn't he? "All right then," she said slowly. For a brief moment Cho wondered if going over to his home alone was the best idea she ever had, but figured he couldn't be all that bad. Just a little odd.

Pushing some hair away from her face, Cho ran through her own schedule in her head. She didn't have anything planned after work beyond a hot shower. "I'll come by about 8:15 then? It'll give me time to was the smell of blood out of my hair."

"Blood is hardly an unpleasant scent," Adrian replied quickly. "But 8:15 sounds good."

He swallowed. Every time he hung out with women, it became dates. Was this going to be another one? The hundreds of possibilities began to run through his head, especially now that Tori belonged to Draco.

"Sorry, did you just say you liked the smell of blood?" Cho was certain she had found the oddest bloke in the hospital to speak with. And now she was going to go to his home. Alone. At night.

"My work is about blood. And I love my work," he replied simply. There was hardly any way around it.

"All right then. I'm still showering," she said with a small smile. She had the strangest image of Adrian sniffing her hair and even though Cho knew she was being ridiculous, she was still going to make sure she smelled like anything but blood.

"However you must prepare yourself." Adrian grinned, just slightly. "So I'll see you later tonight?"

"Mhmm, tonight." Cho heard someone shout her name as Triage came to life and a paitent was brought in. "Sorry," she said while starting to head towards the new paitent. "Tonight," she said again and went to work directing the other nurses and trying her best to get the young woman they had brought in to stop bleeing.

"Right." Without saying goodbye, Adrian turned on his heel and continued on the route he was on prior to talking to Cho. He had a lot to digest for the rest of the day.
